The last thirty one years of my life have been dedicated to serving the United States Federal Government, Department of Defense, and Joint Staff as a Civil Servant. I had no first hand knowledge that this would become the place for God to start training me as a leader, but God’s ways are not our ways.

We know that we all have a purpose, and that purpose must be God’s purpose and not our own. To fulfill the purposes of God, we must be placed where God wants us. This does not only apply to which church we are in, but also to whom God places us together with. This could mean our organization, our network, and our friends. When God finishes “forming” us in this restoration of five-fold ministry, then He “places” us.

I have been most fortunate to have been drawn to the Friends International Christian University family for such a time as this. I was preached in to being a new member of the “Now” generation” of disciplines.
