President and founder of Friends International Christian University, Dr. Edward Michaelson is a man inspired - and inspiring to those around him. FICU was founded on Dr. Michaelson’s insistence that anyone desiring a higher education should receive the opportunity. He has determined the structure of FICU study should accommodate students of any background, financial situation, and academic accomplishment. FICU breaks through economic, educational, and time barriers that might otherwise prevent students from pursuing a university level degree.

Dr. Michaelson’s passion for the Gospel has urged him forward for more than 20 years at the helm of Friends International Christian University. The ministry has expanded to more than 2000 students world-wide - all of them growing in the knowledge of the Word and its application.
