About FICU

• Established in 1978, it is the goal of FICU to accommodate the busiest of students, regardless of educational background. FICU is committed to education; the education of persons preparing for service in Christian ministry. We place our confidence in the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father has sent in the name of Jesus, to teach us all things.

• FICU has devoted the last twenty-five years to developing a distance learning program to assist individuals in fulfilling the calling God has placed upon their lives. FICU was founded to be a non-denominational and inter-denominational university for the Body of Christ. 

  • FICU is committed to train ministers to assume the role of friends, as portrayed in John 15:15, in the Holy Bible.

  • "I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his Master's business. Instead I have called you friends, for everything that I have learned from my Father, I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you." John 15:15-16 NIV

   

• FICU is an International University with more than forty affiliate centers across the United States and around the world. Friends International Christian University has one of the most preeminent alumni in the world. A few of our graduates are Bishop T.D. Jakes of The Potters House, Bishop Clarence E. McClendon, Harvest Fire Ministries & Siloam Bible College Ron Kenoly- Award Winning Singer/Songwriter, Helen Baylor – Grammy Nominee, Ira Hilliard - The New Light World Outreach and Worship Centers, Bishop Don Meares, President of ICLC, to mention a few.

• FICU has hundreds of Pastors, Teachers, Evangelists and Clinical Christian Counselors who may not be world renown; whom have benefited greatly through the academics and superior education obtained through this university. God has created a very unique student and affiliate base that is multicultural and interdenominational.

• FICU has since become a ribbon interwoven throughout many nations, ministries, and denominations around the world. FICU crosses borders in the body of Christ, bringing unity, which is only possible through our Lord and Savior and for that we are forever grateful.
